Kingston Vets is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and proactive Head Receptionist to join our dynamic team working across both our Yeovil and Sherborne practices.
Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you’ll be leading the front of house team, ensuring the very highest level of client and patient care are delivered by the teams at all times. You will be managing a team of 4 colleagues, which includes managing rotas, ensuring detailed inductions are delivered, review meetings are held, and HR processes are completed. Experience in managing debt is advantageous, although full training will be given.
You will work closely with our Director of Practice, in ensuring both sites are running as smoothly as possible with key objectives being met.

The Kingston Veterinary Group proudly serves a diverse client base, caring for small animals & farm livestock, across Somerset and Dorset. Over the years, we have grown to include a dedicated small animal surgery in Yeovil.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Previous experience of managing a team is essential, where you can demonstrate understanding of managing processes and KPI led successes. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is essential, along with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team in a Multi Site role.
Working Pattern
This role is to work 32 hours per week, over 5 days (Monday to Friday) covering a variety of shifts between 8:30 am - 6:30 pm across both our Yeovil and Sherborne sites. Saturday morning cover will be needed ad hoc.

Salary
£22,464 Pa 32 hours a week
