Head Therapist
We are seeking a highly dynamic & motivated Head therapist to support in overseeing our recently renovated and refurbished luxury Spa facility. You will assist in ensuring our new Spa facility operates to the highest of standard. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, along with strong sales management and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will support the manager with professionalism and provide effective management to your team with regards to training, Health & Safety and meeting agreed targets.
With guest satisfaction at the forefront of what we do, you will ensure client schedules are suitable and due diligence is always taken. You will ensure your team are trained to the highest standards and are there to assist our guests with any requirements during their stay with us, leaving them wanting more. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are always maintained, with presentation at the forefront, including staff and the spa facility.
You will support your team to ensure they are performing to set standards, with assistance offered to achieve their retail and treatment targets.
As Head therapist, you will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as experience in managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff and the daily operation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations.
- Manage client consultation forms to highlight any contraindications, ensuring the well-being of our guests prior and post treatment.
- Set monthly rotas and manage the booking system to reflect this.
- Monitor bookings and adjust the rota as required.
- Assist in implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth through retail sales and treatments.
- Conduct stock take and ensure products are accounted for.
- Lead by example and carry out treatments when required.
- Coach and mentor your team members to drive business.
- Handle customer inquiries & complaints promptly and with professionalism.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a position of responsibility within the Spa industry.
- Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy.
- Previous experience in ELEMIS products and treatments is highly desirable, however not essential as training will be provided.
