Trafford Leisure is looking for an outstanding person to join our team, in the role of Head Therapist.

We promise a challenging but rewarding role within a Community Interest Company (CIC) that would be adding real value to the Trafford and wider Greater Manchester residents.

Trafford Leisure is a community interest company, we exist to benefit the Trafford community and we are committed to being a responsible and sustainable employer. We are the largest operator of sport and leisure facilities in Trafford, operating eight indoor facilities, one golf course and driving range and 31 outdoor football pitches, attracting over 2 million visits per year and employing a workforce of over 300 people. Our team support, guide and motivate people and communities to get healthy and be active and we want YOU to become part of this fantastic team.

The new brand, which embodies our purpose and will ultimately help us achieve our Vision of making Trafford the most active place in England, can now be seen and experienced at Urmston for the first time and we look forward to rolling out these positive changes to the rest of the Trafford Leisure estate.

The Role

The new spa is state-of-the-art with new and exciting experiences for our customers to relax, pamper, and indulge.

The Spa includes wellness experiences consisting of 9 different heat experiences, Relaxation room, dedicated nail bar and four treatment rooms.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

As a qualified Head Therapist, you will be managing and developing existing team whilst recruiting new team members into the Spa when needed, in order to provide professional treatments and experience to guests.

You will be managing the spa environment and treatment diary, whilst maximising opportunities for guests to enjoy our facilities and get the best out of their stay.

To Be Successful In Your Role, You Must Have

  • In-depth knowledge of treatments
  • Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the Spa budget.
  • Able to set targets to ensure the department maximises on all sales opportunity.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
  • Working as part of a team, the role requires a professional yet considerate approach, accompanied by enthusiasm at all times and a passion to deliver customer satisfaction.

Location

Your primary location will be The Cove Spa Altrincham.
