Head Waiter/Waitress (Seasonal Contract)

We are looking to bring on a Head Waiter/Waitress for a seasonal contract between May and mid-September. You’ll be a key presence on the floor during our peak summer months—approaching service with confidence, mentoring the team, and ensuring that every guest receives warm, professional service.

Note: While this is a seasonal contract ending in mid-September, there may be the option to extend based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience as a senior waiter or section leader in a premium or high-volume setting.
  • Confidence in leading a section and supporting junior team members.
  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn a complex menu quickly.
  • Passion for hospitality and a team-first mindset.
  • A calm, collected presence under pressure and the ability to handle the fast pace of a summer terrace.
  • Full availability from May through to mid-September.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
