Headache GP Position

We are seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Headache GP to work within the neurology department to further develop the headache services in West Herts, and will be instrumental in providing specialized care for patients with chronic migraines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialised Headache Services: Lead and manage a weekly specialist migraine clinic.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (including neurologists, pain specialists, and primary care physicians) to provide safe, effective, and holistic care for patients with headache disorders.
  • Service Development: Assist with developing the headache service, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, treatment pathways, and overall service delivery.
  • Clinical Governance: Participate in clinical governance processes, including audits, risk management, and service evaluation. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and safety protocols.

Working Hours

The successful candidates will be expected to work 09:00am – 5:00pm one day a week and with the flexibility to work across all three sites.
