Company Description

Hamoki is a growing UK supplier of commercial catering equipment, working with dealers, distributors, and professional customers across the hospitality and catering industry.

As we continue to expand our product portfolio, dealer network, and premium product offering, we are looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Business Development to lead the next stage of our commercial growth.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands the UK commercial catering equipment industry and is capable of both winning business personally and building a stronger sales function around them.

Role Description

The Head of Sales & Business Development will take responsibility for developing Hamoki’s UK sales strategy, strengthening existing customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across dealers, distributors, buying groups, and other commercial channels.

Initially, this will be a highly hands-on position. You will be expected to actively develop accounts, visit customers, generate new business, and build relationships across the industry.

As the business grows, you will also have the opportunity to help shape, recruit, and lead a wider sales team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute the company’s UK sales and business development strategy.
  • Identify and win new dealer, distributor, and key account business.
  • Build strong long-term relationships with existing customers and industry partners.
  • Develop opportunities for Hamoki and its growing premium product portfolio.
  • Identify new markets, product opportunities, and commercial partnerships.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and develop strategic accounts.
  • Establish appropriate sales targets, account plans, and reporting processes.
  • Provide market and competitor intelligence to support product and pricing decisions.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, marketing, operations, and technical teams.
  • Help recruit, develop, and lead additional sales personnel as the business expands.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not simply an account management position.

You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the commercial direction of a growing catering equipment business.

For the right person, the role offers considerable scope to:

  • Build and lead the company’s sales function.
  • Influence product strategy and market positioning.
