Lead an Outstanding Village School with Nationwide Reach

Ramsbury Primary School is seeking an inspirational, strategic and compassionate Head Teacher to lead its next phase of development.

Ramsbury is a thriving, high-performing village primary in a beautiful rural Wiltshire setting – judged Outstanding in all areas at its most recent inspection – and it is also a government-designated English Hub. The Hub supports schools across four counties to deliver excellence in early reading and phonics and is expanding to include support for secondary schools too. Your strategic direction of the Hub will be crucial in this expansion phase. Few primary headships combine such a strong local foundation with genuine nationwide influence.

About the School

Ramsbury sits at the heart of a Wiltshire village of around 2,000 residents, equidistant from Marlborough and Hungerford. With one class per year group, the school is small enough for every child to be known well, and ambitious enough to deliver results that sit consistently and comfortably above nationwide averages.

The culture is rooted in respect and kindness, expressed through Golden Rules the children know by heart: be gentle, be kind, work hard, show respect, listen to people, be honest.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
