About the Role
Reydon Primary School is seeking a Headteacher who believes deeply in the power of education to transform lives and who shares our commitment to high expectations, collaboration and continuous improvement. As part of the Active Learning Trust, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside a network of schools and colleagues while providing clear, confident leadership for a school at the heart of its local community. We are looking for a leader who can inspire excellence in teaching, champion inclusion and wellbeing, build strong relationships with families and partners, and create the conditions in which both children and staff can grow, succeed and thrive.
Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the school, translating vision into clear priorities that drive continuous improvement and strong outcomes for pupils.
- Ensure safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, behaviour and attendance remain at the centre of school life.
- Lead, support and develop staff to secure consistently high quality teaching and learning.
- Oversee the curriculum, resources and budget to maximise educational opportunities and achievement for all pupils.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, governors, the Trust and the wider community, acting as an ambassador for the school.
