Headteacher

Location: Beech Hall School, Beech Hall Drive, Cheshire, SK10 2EG

Salary: Up to £95,000 per annuum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: January 2027

Role Purpose

Beech Hall School is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead the school through an exciting new chapter. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and inspirational leader to build on our strengths, drive school improvement, and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students, staff, and wider community.

As Headteacher, you will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of school life, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, safeguarding, wellbeing, and student achievement. Working closely with colleagues, governors, parents, and the wider Blenheim Schools Group, you will foster a culture of inclusion, ambition, and excellence where students thrive and staff flourish.

We are looking for a visible, forward-thinking leader with the vision, passion, and determination to inspire others, develop future leaders, and shape the future success of the school. What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing inspirational leadership that drives a positive, ambitious, and high-performing school culture
  • Leading the strategic development and continuous improvement of Beech Hall School
  • Championing excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum delivery
  • Ensuring outstanding safeguarding, wellbeing, and pastoral care for all students
  • Building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and professional development
  • Using data, self-evaluation, and quality assurance processes to drive student outcomes and informed decision-making
  • Managing school operations, resources, and financial sustainability effectively
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, governors, external agencies, and the wider community
  • Collaborating across the Blenheim Schools Group to share best practice and contribute to future growth and innovation
  • Acting as an ambassador for the school, enhancing its reputation and profile both internally and externally

What You Will Bring

  • An experienced and accomplished school leader with a proven ability to drive improvement, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional outcomes for students.
  • NPQH required
  • Independent K12 experience required
  • Successful experience as a Headteacher or senior school leader
  • A strong track record of raising standards and improving educational outcomes
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience leading change and managing school improvement initiatives
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • The ability to analyse data and use evidence to drive performance and improvement
  • A resilient, adaptable, and forward-thinking approach to leadership
