LEADERSHIP PAY RANGE POINTS L8-12
Required – 1st January 2027
The trust is seeking to appoint a strong leader for Kinnerley C of E Primary School and Nursery to build on our school’s current strengths and achievements.
Kinnerley is a welcoming village school where every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to flourish. As an inclusive school, we are committed to meeting the needs of all children and ensuring that every pupil feels happy, supported and inspired to achieve their very best. With four owl-themed classes and a Nursery welcoming children from the age of two, we provide a caring and ambitious learning environment for families from our local community and beyond. The school is small enough to retain a strong family atmosphere, while offering a wide range of opportunities for children to develop academically, socially and personally.
As a Church of England school, our Christian vision and values shape everyday life at Kinnerley. They underpin a culture of kindness, respect and belonging, where everyone feels welcomed, nurtured and valued. Our most recent SIAMS inspection recognised this, describing Kinnerley as: “A small school with big ambitions. Everyone is welcome.”

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
