Health and Housing Partnership Officer
East Suffolk Council

Salary: £40,444 - £44,253 (pro rata) – Job Evaluation Pending – Indicative Band 7
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2027

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Private Sector Housing Team as a Health and Housing Partnership Officer.
The Role:
You will play a key role in improving health outcomes through better housing, using your knowledge of primary and acute healthcare systems to build strong partnerships. You will work with health, statutory and voluntary sector partners to deliver projects, strengthen engagement and support proactive interventions.
Requirements
What you will need:
- Educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience, with a strong understanding of health services, including the NHS and primary care.
- Excellent communication, partnership-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Organised, confident working independently, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable analysing information and finding practical solutions.
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and databases, are essential.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support the needs of the service.
