Health & Safety Advisor
Help shape a safe, innovative and forward-thinking university environment
We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional who can influence, coach and inspire colleagues across the University of Chester.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a diverse and complex organisation, supporting everything from cutting-edge research laboratories and engineering workshops to student residences, events and major construction projects. You'll be a trusted advisor to managers and leaders while helping to develop our Health & Safety Management System and drive digital improvements that make compliance simpler, smarter and more effective.

- Experience providing health and safety advice in a large and complex organisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to influence, coach and challenge constructively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- A passion for continuous improvement and organisational learning.
- Excellent digital skills and an interest in developing management systems and reporting solutions.
- NEBOSH qualifications and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
