Data centre and MEP construction sites do not forgive a weak safety culture. An international data centre and technology organisation is hiring a Health & Safety Advisor, based at their Bank office in London, to keep standards high across active project environments in the UK and EMEA.

About the opportunity

This is a visible, site-facing role. You will monitor site activity, identify hazards, review contractor RAMS, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, investigate incidents and drive corrective actions to close-out - working alongside project management, construction teams, contractors, clients and senior Health & Safety leadership. Expect regular travel to live data centre and MEP construction sites.

What you will be doing

  • Provide professional Health & Safety advice to project teams, management and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections and audits across construction and data centre sites
  • Identify hazards, assess risks and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented
  • Review contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements and monitor compliance on site
  • Ensure permits, controls and documentation are in place for high-risk activities
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings and task-specific training
  • Lead or support investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses; identify root causes
  • Monitor corrective and preventative action close-out and communicate lessons learned
  • Monitor contractor Health & Safety performance and escalate repeated non-compliance
  • Maintain accurate H&S documentation, statutory records, inspection and audit reports
  • Support compliance with UK and applicable EMEA Health & Safety legislation and CDM
  • Support environmental and sustainability objectives across projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
