Health and Safety Advisor - £40,000-£45,000 + Package - Mechanical and Electrical – London – ID:11747
Looking for a Health and Safety role where you can genuinely influence a growing business rather than simply maintain compliance?
We're working with a well-established Mechanical and Electrical contractor that has secured an additional major long-term public sector contract and is continuing to grow. With a strong pipeline of work across both projects and maintenance, they are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to support the next stage of their growth.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the newly appointed Head of Operations, you'll play a key role in improving Health and Safety, compliance, and culture across the business while working closely with project teams.

The role is based across the company's London operations, supporting projects predominantly within the M25.
Key Duties
- Supporting the Head of Operations on all Health and Safety matters
- Advising Project teams
- Carrying out site inspections & audits whilst promoting best practice
- Maintaining Health and Safety compliance across projects and maintenance contracts
- Supporting company accreditations and compliance systems
- Driving continuous improvement across operational Health and Safety

Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
- Open to Health and Safety professionals from construction, M&E, or other transferable sectors, as well as qualified Site or Project Managers looking to transition into a dedicated Health and Safety role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A practical, proactive, common-sense approach
