Health & Safety Advisor – South London
£50,000 + £5,250 Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
A leading residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support its construction operations across multiple sites in the South region. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction-focused Health & Safety professional to join an established team and play a key role in maintaining and improving SHE standards across a portfolio of residential developments.
The Role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager and Construction Director, you will work closely with project teams, providing advice, support, coaching, and mentoring across all aspects of the SHE framework.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out site inspections and monitoring compliance with SHE policies and procedures
- Advising project teams on health, safety, and welfare matters
- Reviewing and supporting the implementation of Safe Systems of Work, including high-risk activities
- Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, incidents, and areas of non-compliance
- Producing clear SHE reports supported by photographic evidence
- Working closely with Site Managers and operational teams to drive improvements
- Providing guidance on UK health & safety legislation and best practice
- Supporting the consistent embedding of the company's SHE framework across multiple sites

About You
- Previous experience working as a Health & Safety / SHE Advisor within the construction industry
- Residential construction experience preferred
- NEBOSH Construction Health & Safety Certificate
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable travelling between multiple sites
