Health & Safety and Environment Advisor

📍 Regional Site-Based Roles – North Wales, Motherwell, Watford, Oxfordshire & Kent

💰 £51,000 – £60,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance/Car

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in construction and CDM?

We're looking for experienced Health & Safety and Environment Advisors to support a range of live construction and project works across different regional locations.

This is a hands-on, site-based opportunity where you'll work closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors and clients, providing practical H&S advice and helping ensure projects are delivered safely and compliantly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing practical H&S advice across construction and project activities.
  • Supporting compliance with CDM regulations and current H&S legislation.
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
  • Reviewing RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Supporting incident, accident and near-miss investigations.
  • Working closely with project managers, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Promoting a positive H&S culture across live project environments.
  • Providing guidance on H&S compliance and best practice.
  • Supporting clients and stakeholders with HSE requirements.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with company procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' practical Health & Safety experience, ideally within construction.
  • Strong experience working with CDM on live projects.
  • Experience working on construction or project sites.
  • Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • IOSH certified.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working across live construction environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the relevant region.
  • Ability/willingness to obtain SC clearance where required.

Where You'll Be Working

There are 3 non-defence positions, covering different regional areas:

  • 📍 North Wales
  • 📍 Motherwell
  • 📍 Watford
  • 📍 Oxfordshire
  • 📍 Kent

The role is fully site-based with no home working, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling to the relevant project locations within your allocated area.

What's On Offer

  • ✅ £51,000 – £60,000 salary
  • ✅ £5,000 car allowance / company car
  • ✅ Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • ✅ 37.5 hours per week
  • ✅ 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • ✅ Varied construction and project environments
