Location: South Wales (On-site 5 days/week)
Duration: 3 Months rolling contract (Early Works and Ground Investigations Phase)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate (Inside IR35)
Randstad is recruiting a SHE Advisor to join a tier:one main contractor on a major energy transmission project in South Wales. This is an immediate, site:based contract to drive safety leadership and compliance during early works and ground investigations.
The Role
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will oversee daily site safety and lead incident investigations:
- Site Compliance and Leadership: Provide daily on:site safety guidance to project teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with SHE legislation and company standards.
- Incidents and Auditing: Lead root:cause incident investigations, deliver key learnings, and report accurately on site SHEQ performance metrics.
- Culture and Stakeholder Engagement: Drive a positive safety and environmental culture through daily site briefings, toolboxes, and proactive client engagement.

Essential Requirements
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum requirement). IOSH membership desirable.
- Sector Background: Proven SHE experience within energy transmission, overhead line (OHL) schemes, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Hands:on experience leading root:cause accident/incident investigations and auditing regulated sites.
- Site Availability: Valid UK driving licence and able to work on site in South Wales 5 days a week.
