HSEQ Advisor| Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to help drive a strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture across our manufacturing and branch operations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with managers and operational teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk and continuously improve the way we work. From carrying out audits and investigations to supporting ISO management systems and coaching colleagues, you'll play a key role in creating safer workplaces and maintaining the high standards our customers and employees expect.

What You'll Be Doing
- Championing a strong HSEQ culture across manufacturing and branch operations.
- Carrying out audits, inspections and investigations to identify risks and drive improvements.
- Supporting managers with risk assessments, safe systems of work and practical solutions.
- Maintaining HSEQ records, documentation and supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Providing guidance, coaching and support to colleagues on Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality best practice.
- Monitoring legal compliance, supporting audits and helping deliver continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

About You
You're an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys being out in the business, building relationships and influencing positive change. You have a practical approach to Health & Safety, can confidently challenge where required and always look for solutions rather than simply identifying problems.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities across a multi-site environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
You will have:
- Previous HSEQ or Health & Safety experience.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
- Manufacturing, industrial or waste industry experience.
- Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience with audits, investigations and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Well organised with excellent time management.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Good report writing and Microsoft Office skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites, including occasional overnight stays.
Advantageous
- Experience carrying out COSHH assessments.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR and Fire Safety legislation.
- Experience working within a multi-site organisation.
