Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting high standards of health and safety across all L&Q workplaces
  • Maintaining and improving our Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)
  • Designing and delivering training, processing incident reports, and conducting audits
  • Monitoring compliance and encouraging safe behaviours
  • Building strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders such as local authorities
  • Supporting departmental goals through collaborative and independent work

What you'll bring:

To be considered, you’ll need to demonstrate:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) and membership with a recognised health and safety institute
  • Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally in a multi-site or housing environment
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, supported by ongoing professional development
  • Confidence using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) to communicate safety messages through reports, data, and training

We value your approach as much as your qualifications. You’ll be a proactive team player with a hands-on attitude and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture. A willingness to continue learning and developing is essential.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a real difference to the safety and well-being of our staff and residents, we’d love to hear from you.
