An Exciting Opportunity has Arose for a Health & Safety Analyst to Join Our Oracle Transformation Program

The Health & Safety Analyst (Oracle WHS Deployment) supports the successful implementation of Oracle Workforce Health & Safety by coordinating requirements gathering, documenting processes, assisting with configuration validation, and participating in testing cycles to ensure incident management, risk assessment, and compliance workflows function effectively. The role acts as a key link between H&S teams, HR, Operations, and system specialists, helping validate data, support training and change activities, and ensure the solution aligns with organisational safety policies, regulatory obligations, and operational needs.

You will be the functional subject matter expert for WHS configuration, reporting, workflow management and integrations with HR, Operations and SHEQ teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Requirements Gathering: Work with H&S leads, HR, and operational teams to capture incident management, risk assessment, and compliance requirements for Oracle WHS.
  • Coordinate Deployment Activities: Assist the project team in organising workshops, testing cycles, user reviews, and configuration validation sessions.
  • Process Mapping & Documentation: Document current state H&S processes, identify gaps, and support the creation of future state workflows aligned to Oracle WHS capabilities.
  • Incident & Safety Data Support: Help validate incident categories, severity levels, corrective actions, and reporting structures to ensure accuracy during system build and testing.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in SIT/UAT by executing test scripts, logging defects, and ensuring H&S processes function correctly in the system.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a coordination point between H&S teams, programme delivery, and system specialists, ensuring timely communication and alignment.
  • Training & Change Support: Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, and communications to support frontline and managerial adoption of Oracle WHS.
  • Compliance & Governance Support: Ensure system design and processes align with internal safety policies, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Data Migration Assistance: Support validation of historical incident data, ensuring correct mapping, completeness, and quality during migration activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline safety workflows and enhance user experience as the system evolves.

Essential

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, SHEQ qualifications, Oracle Cloud certifications).
  • Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), with a minimum of two A-Levels.
  • Experience in Health & Safety, SHEQ or WHS operations, with familiarity in incident management systems such as Oracle WHS.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to support process mapping, data validation, and testing activities.
  • Confident communicator who works effectively with H&S, HR, Operations, and project teams.
  • Detail focused, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced deployment environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
