We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Advisor to join our team, delivering expert advice and support to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own portfolio of clients and schedule support visits in line with contractual requirements
  • Conduct Health & Safety audits and Fire Risk Assessments, producing clear and practical action plans
  • Support clients in implementing recommended actions and improvements
  • Maintain and update client records via our bespoke online Health & Safety Management System
  • Develop and review policies, processes, and procedures tailored to client needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery, share industry knowledge, and improve internal resources
  • Stay up to date with current UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices

About You:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, Fire Certificate, or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety advisory role and in completion of Fire Risk Assessments in a client-facing role.
  • Member of professional body, IOSH, IFSM, etc.
  • Professional, friendly, and supportive approach to implementation of H&S requirements with a clear understanding of legislation and best practice.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence leaders and workers in a variety of settings and industries.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Knowledge of, and experience in implementing, Management Systems, primarily H&S, but knowledge in relation to Quality and Environmental management is a benefit.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements throughout Scotland)
