The Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to oversee safety compliance on a major data centre construction project in London, working closely with the client’s Construction Manager and main contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety walks, and audits.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with health and safety legislation and project safety plans.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Report safety observations and maintain accurate H&S documentation.
- Attend site meetings and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

- Minimum three years’ H&S experience in construction or industrial projects.
- Relevant H&S qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction health and safety legislation.
- Data centre or MEP construction experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
