Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator
The Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator will assist coordinating all aspects of Health, Safety & Facilities management within the Droitwich site. To be flexible in approach and in the duties, which are performed in order to ensure that urgent and important tasks are completed in line with the needs of the business.
Please note: this will be a fixed term appointment for 3 months
Key Duties:
- Lead site Health & Safety compliance by implementing policies, coordinating risk assessments, accident investigations, action plans, and reporting notifiable incidents (RIDDOR).
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, guidance, audits, contractor management, and ensuring adequate fire warden, first aid, and site safety coverage.
- Maintain and control all Health & Safety documentation, records, employee liability claims, and compliance systems, ensuring documentation is current, accessible, and legally compliant.
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and statutory checks, supporting ISO management systems, legionella controls, emergency lighting, fire safety equipment, and operational compliance.
- Manage facilities, security, and loss prevention activities, including waste management, cleaning contracts, site access controls, CCTV, alarms, maintenance contracts, and minor site improvement projects.
- Deliver and oversee staff training and competency programmes, including inductions, MHE assessments, e-learning, Health & Safety training, and development of management safety knowledge.

Skills/Experience:

- 3 years H&S management in warehouse environment
- NEBOSH certificate
- Experience in warehouse / Logistics environment
- Microsoft Office literate
