HEALTH & SAFETY COORDINATOR
Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator
Location: Aston Clinton
Salary: Up to £38,000 (Depending on Experience & Hours Worked)
Hours: Part-Time – 25–30 Hours per Week (School Hours Available)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Job Role of the Health & Safety Coordinator
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This part-time role offers excellent flexibility, with school hours available, making it ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
You will play a key role in supporting the site's health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, promoting a positive safety culture, carrying out audits and risk assessments, and working closely with managers and employees to maintain the highest standards of health and safety across the business.

Sector – Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Health & Safety Coordinator
- Previous Health & Safety experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
- Experience carrying out risk assessments, audits and accident investigations.
Requirements for the Health & Safety Coordinator
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience delivering Health & Safety training and toolbox talks.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience maintaining Health & Safety documentation and records.
Desirable Requirements for the Health & Safety Coordinator
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Experience with ISO 45001 management systems.
