Health and Safety Coordinator

Chirk, Wrexham

EHS Department | Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is looking for a proactive EHS Coordinator to help drive safety, health, and environmental excellence across their site. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to make a real, visible difference to workplace culture. Spotting risks before they become incidents and working with people at every level of the business to build safer, more sustainable ways of working.

About The Role

Reporting to the H&S Manager, you'll be the go-to person for health, safety, and environmental advice on site. You'll spend the majority of your time out on the floor, inspecting, auditing, coordinating risk assessments, and running inductions. Whilst also helping shape the site's broader H&S strategy and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

H&S Advice and Procedures:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of health and safety matters at the site.
  • Support the management team in setting H&S goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement intervention strategies for hygiene, health, and safety hazards.
  • Roll out new H&S protocols and measures to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare compliance documentation for relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Stay current on H&S trends, legislation, and best practice to drive continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
