H&S Director
Location: South East with UK travel
About the Opportunity
TwoScore is supporting a major UK organisation with the appointment of an H&S Director into a senior leadership position within the business.
We are particularly interested in speaking with established Health & Safety leaders from high-hazard and safety-critical environments, including power, energy, utilities, chemicals, process industries and other heavily regulated operations.
This is a strategic leadership role with a broad remit across Health & Safety, assurance, risk and governance. Working closely with the organisation’s most senior safety and operational leadership, you will provide direction and challenge across a large and complex operational environment.
The position will suit someone who has progressed beyond purely operational H&S leadership and is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, providing assurance at the highest levels and shaping how a major organisation approaches safety and risk.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
