Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible, proactive EHS leadership across project teams and site operations
  • Develop, implement and maintain EHS management systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK and European legislation, standards and client requirements

  • Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitor project EHS performance and produce regular reports for senior management and clients
  • Support the development of project-specific EHS plans, RAMS and risk assessments
  • Provide EHS guidance and support to subcontractors and supply-chain partners
  • Deliver and support toolbox talks, training and EHS briefings
  • Promote a positive safety culture across the organisation
  • Ensure environmental requirements are properly incorporated into project delivery
  • Support sustainability and environmental initiatives across projects
  • Work with clients and principal contractors to ensure EHS expectations are understood and consistently delivered
  • Keep up to date with changes in European EHS legislation and industry best practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role requires someone who is commercially aware, pragmatic and able to build strong relationships rather than simply acting as a compliance function.
