Health and Safety Manager Location: Fleet (Hybrid - mature approach to being in the office when required) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Configured Recruitment is working on behalf of a high-growth technology company based in Fleet to recruit a Group Health & Safety Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding technology business with an international presence. The successful candidate will take ownership of Health & Safety across the organisation, helping to develop robust systems, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement as the business grows.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy and management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation across the territories in which the business operates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and managing a scalable Health & Safety Management System
  • Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001
  • Planning and conducting internal audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Supporting Health & Safety due diligence as part of acquisitions
  • Leading incident and near-miss investigations
  • Delivering Health & Safety training, advice and guidance
  • Managing emergency procedures, including first aid and fire safety
  • Working with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple territories
  • Supporting continuous improvement in Health & Safety standards
  • Travelling to Group entities, including internationally, when required

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional with:

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • IOSH membership
  • Minimum 3 years' Health & Safety experience
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • The ability to influence and engage effectively at all levels
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
