Health & Safety Manager
A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to lead health and safety excellence across various civils projects in the South of England, including a major bridge crossing project in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
About the Role
As Health & Safety Manager you will ensure compliance with all legislative and corporate standards while driving the coordination of Safety Management Systems, risk assessments, audits, and stakeholder requirements.
Requirements
To be suitable for this Health & Safey Manager Role you will have:
- Relevant Health & Safety experience in the Construction / Civil engineering sector working for a main or sub contractor.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent.
- A qualified internal health & safety auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits. Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.
- An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
- A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation
- Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.
- Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levels
- Ideally Chartered IOSH

Salary: £58,000 - £67,000 per annum plus package including:
