Health and Safety Manager
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary: £54,174.51
We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5,000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious, with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and continue investing in our properties. We provide housing to those in housing need and aim to be a great landlord for our customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Manager to join the Trust.
The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Trust’s health and safety strategy, management system and governance framework, ensuring that risks to employees, residents, contractors, visitors and others affected by the Trust’s activities are effectively identified, managed and monitored.

To succeed you’ll have previous experience of managing health and safety within a complex, multi-site organisation, ideally within social housing, property, construction, facilities management or a similarly regulated environment.
You should also have a recognised health and safety management qualification such as the NEBOSH Diploma (or nearing completion) or recognised equivalent as well as knowledge of ISO 45001 management systems. You should also be a Chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH), or equivalent recognised professional status. A full driving licence and access to a car is also required.
