Birmingham | £67,000 - £84,000 + Car Allowance & Excellent Benefits
An established and highly respected UK construction organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support the safe delivery of major regional construction projects across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive H&S professional to join a business with a strong reputation for quality, collaboration and safety, working across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure schemes.
The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will work closely with project and operational teams, providing expert guidance on all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing. You will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing expert health, safety and wellbeing advice across regional projects
- Conducting site inspections, audits and investigations
- Coaching and supporting project teams on H&S best practice
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
- Supporting training initiatives and driving continual improvement in safety performance

About You
We're looking for an experienced construction health & safety professional who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
You'll ideally have:
- NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety
- IOSH or IIRSM membership
- Significant H&S experience within the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and industry best practice
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
