Health & Safety Manager – Leisure & Wellness 📍 London
Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional with a passion for people, compliance, and customer experience? We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a premium leisure and wellness facility.
The role
As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll take ownership of operational safety, compliance, and facilities standards while leading by example:
- Act regularly as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Own and enforce health, safety, and compliance regulations across the site
- Lead, train, and develop an internal team in line with safety and operational standards
- Manage and coordinate self-employed contractors
- Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and excellent customer service

What you’ll bring
- IOSH / NEBOSH or another recognised Health & Safety qualification
- Relevant Facilities Management qualification (HND, Diploma or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
- Experience managing facilities maintenance in a service-led environment
- Proven people management experience (e.g. leisure, hospitality, retail, attractions, or sport)
- A customer-focused mindset with confident leadership skills
