Health & Safety Manager

Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious tour operator group seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team.

As a hugely successful tour operator group, they offer holidays worldwide, working with thousands of hotels and ground-service providers through a combination of direct contracts, bed banks, wholesalers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs).

The successful candidate will take the lead on the day-to-day implementation of customer Health & Safety across the Group, working closely with the external Health & Safety advisor to develop, refine and embed policies and procedures throughout the business.

Health & Safety is managed remotely and at scale, utilising third-party H&S providers, audit systems and supplier partnerships. While occasional site visits may be required, this is not a property-based role, and UK hotels are not the primary focus.

To be considered for this position, previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role is essential, with experience in the travel industry being a distinct advantage.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, alongside an excellent benefits package. The role can be based in either our client's Horsham or Chester office, with hybrid working available.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
