Health & Safety Manager
Location: Riverside/Fairham, Nottingham

As Health & Safety Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of health and safety standards across our GrandVision Tech Centre, ensuring a safe, compliant, and engaging working environment for all colleagues.

What We're Looking For
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification (Diploma desirable)
- Previous Health & Safety experience, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve health & safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Monitor and interpret health & safety legislation, ensuring legal compliance across the site
- Manage risk assessments, COSHH documentation, and health & safety records
- Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and preventative actions
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections and assessments
- Deliver health & safety training and guidance to managers and colleagues
- Oversee first aid arrangements, PPE compliance, and contractor management processes
- Monitor waste management activities and support environmental compliance initiatives
- Partner with Facilities teams to ensure health, safety, and statutory obligations are met
