HSE Manager – HS2 Project

Location: Central London | Permanent | Up to £65,000 + Excellent Benefits

TK Elevator (TKE) is a global leader in vertical transportation and urban mobility, providing engineering that keeps the world moving through the design, installation, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, walkways and more. With around 50,000 employees and services delivered across more than 100 countries, TKE are now looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join the team on the prestigious HS2 project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Health, Safety and Environment professional to take ownership of HSE performance on one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure projects. Reporting to the HS2 Project Director, you'll provide managerial supervision and subject matter expertise across site, ensuring legal compliance is maintained and that HSE processes and procedures are properly implemented, communicated, and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting HSE processes and procedures across site activities, leading goal setting and reporting on progress
  • Carrying out site and facility audits, risk assessments, and accident/incident investigations
  • Reviewing SWMS and RAMS from an HSE perspective and checking daily briefings with the Site Manager
  • Coordinating training and competency requirements with the TKE UK Training Manager
  • Providing mentoring and direction to installation teams, and representing TKE in client/contractor discussions
  • Preparing monthly HSE reports and maintaining an approved Health & Safety project plan

What You'll Bring

  • A recognised H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent, minimum Level 3)
  • Experience working with and audited to ISO45001
  • A strong track record in risk assessment, accident investigation and RCA
  • Confident IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK & Ireland as business needs require

Experience with lifts and escalators installation, or lifting and rigging, would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to £65,000 plus excellent benefits, and the chance to play a key role in a landmark UK infrastructure project.
