Health and Safety Trainer | UK Wide | Full Time | £35,000 - £45,000, negotiable depending on experience

Our client has delivered health and safety training since 1984, built on quality and a drive to ensure every course is completed to a high standard and understood by everyone who attends. Over that time, they have built a portfolio of clients who value their expertise and commitment to quality.

They work with each client to create and tailor courses that meet their specific needs. Their courses achieve high customer satisfaction ratings and are delivered by a team of passionate, professional, and adaptable trainers.

They exist to provide training where delegates leave with more than just a certificate. They gain the skills and confidence to make a difference in their chosen trade.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Trainer to join their team and deliver health and safety training programmes, including IOSH and up to NEBOSH level.

The Role

As a Health and Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of health and safety training courses to clients across the UK. Training will be delivered at Midlands training facilities, remotely via Teams or Zoom, and at client sites nationwide.

This is a varied role where no two courses are the same. You will work with delegates from a range of backgrounds and learning styles, using your expertise and engaging approach to deliver high-quality training that meets client expectations.

Travel to client sites across the UK is a key part of this role, so flexibility and willingness to travel are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional health and safety training courses, including IOSH and some NEBOSH programmes
  • Develop and design new health and safety courses to reflect changes in legislation
  • Ensure training is delivered to the highest professional standards
  • Provide an engaging learning experience for delegates with different learning styles
  • Represent the company professionally when working with clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service
  • Report directly to the Director

Requirements

Essential

  • Significant experience within the Health and Safety sector
  • Appropriate training qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability and willingness to travel UK-wide
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

  • Experience delivering IOSH and NEBOSH training programmes
  • Experience working with a range of industries and client environments
