Role: Health & Social Care Trainer
Location: Telford
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Reports To: Head of Learning & Development
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Purpose Of The Role:
We are committed to delivering training that empowers staff and professionals to provide safe, person-centred care. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Mental Health & Specialist Trainer to design and deliver engaging, high-quality training programmes that strengthen our teams’ ability to support individuals with complex mental health and social care needs.
This role goes beyond raising awareness, it equips our workforce with the practical skills and confidence to manage real challenges. Training will cover areas such as:
- Deliver engaging health and social care training across Komplex Group
- Deliver mandatory, statutory and specialist training in line with CQC requirements
- Deliver training such as MCA, DoLS, infection control, moving and handling, medication administration and safeguarding.
- Be responsible for PRICE training deliver and compliance

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging health and social care training across Komplex Group
- Deliver mandatory, statutory and specialist training in line with CQC requirements
- Support new starter inductions
- Support new starter PRICE training
- Assess and record staff competency and compliance
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance and certification
- Adapt training to meet different learning needs and abilities
- Develop and update training materials and resources
- Monitor training completion and support teams to remain fully compliant

Essential Skills & Experience
You are an engaging and confident trainer who thrives on equipping others to make a genuine difference. You bring:
- Proven experience/demonstratable experience delivering training in:
- Health and social care training frameworks
- A strong knowledge in Safeguarding frameworks and DoLs
- PRICE restraint training
- Knowledge and/or experience in restraint reduction techniques (we use PRICE), conflict resolution and trauma-informed approaches.
- Practical experience in mental health and social care
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, able to adapt to diverse audiences.
- Confidence in discussing complex safeguarding issues.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a values-driven environment.
- A genuine passion to work for a company that delivers care which truly transforms lives.
Desirable Qualifications
Essential:
- Recognised teaching/training qualification (e.g. CET, PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education & Training, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge and training experience and/or practical experience in social care, mental health and learning disabilities

Desirable:
- Experience delivering specialist training (implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBS), de-escalation, ligature awareness, trauma-informed care).
- Relevant qualifications in Safeguarding (Level 4), and Restraint Reduction.

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 GBP Per annum
