Healthcare Assistant Apprentice – Brooklands Hospital

Are you caring, compassionate and looking for a career where you can make a real difference?

Brooklands Hospital is looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant Apprentices to join our team and work towards a Level 3 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a specialist hospital supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, while developing the skills and knowledge you need for a rewarding career in health and social care.

You don't need previous healthcare experience. We are looking for people who are:

  • Caring, compassionate and respectful.
  • Reliable and willing to learn.
  • Positive and committed to developing their skills.
  • Able to work well as part of a team.
  • Passionate about supporting others and making a difference.

As part of your apprenticeship, you will receive support from experienced colleagues and complete off-the-job learning within your paid working hours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
