Location: Enfield, EN3
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 12-hour days and night shifts
Minimum Commitment: 24 hours per week

A caring, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant is required to support a gentleman in his late 30s who lives with his family and three friendly dogs in Enfield. The gentleman has a spinal cord injury and requires support to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in his own home. This role involves providing person-centred care and assisting with all aspects of daily living. Our client does smoke for clinical reasons and needs help with this, so please only apply if you are comfortable working with clients who smoke.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Supporting with all mobility needs, transfers, and repositioning
  • Assisting with bowel management routines
  • Supporting with the use of a nebuliser
  • Promoting comfort, wellbeing, and independence
  • Working closely with family members and healthcare professionals
  • Providing companionship and emotional support

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Assisting with mobility, positioning, and transfers
  • Supporting tracheostomy care and respiratory needs
  • Monitoring and assisting with BiPAP therapy as required
  • Communicating effectively using non-verbal methods
  • Working closely with the family and healthcare professionals
