Salary: £15.45 - £20.60 p/h PAYE
Hours: Flexible – Full-Time/Part-Time
Are you an experienced Health Care Assistance looking for a dynamic and rewarding role?
Join SELDOC, a successful GP cooperative with 30 years of service, delivering high-quality primary and urgent care to 2 million patients across South London. As part of our dedicated team, you’ll have the flexibility to work on-site or remotely, conducting telephone consultations or seeing patients face-to-face at our bases.
We are seeking experienced and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. As an HCA, you will work alongside Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPS), General Practitioners (GPs) and collaboratively across the UTC, Emergency Department, and wider hospital services, supporting the GPs and ENPS in the management of a diverse caseload of patients presenting with urgent and emergency needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Able to carry out baseline observations (BP, HR, Temp, SpO₂
- Basic wound care/dressings
- Good communication and IT skills
- Working with ENPS to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
- Keeping count of clinical stock, vaccines and putting away stock
Person Specification: Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
- Basic Life Support training
- Basic wound care/dressings experience
- Good communication and IT skills
- Awareness of infection control & safeguarding principles
- Evidence of initiative and willingness to learn

- NVQ Level 3
- Phlebotomy training
- Previous urgent care or A&E experience
- ECG skills
- Local policies and protocols
Must have the right to work in the UK (SELDOC does not support any visa applications)
