Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly and supportive teams on Beechwood Ward and Clarendon Ward at The Evington Centre, Leicester.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a physical healthcare setting, supporting patients who require sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation. Every day brings the chance to help people recover, maintain their independence and receive the highest standard of compassionate care.
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced registered nurses and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll provide essential hands-on care and support to our patients, ensuring their dignity, comfort and wellbeing are at the heart of everything you do.

Please note this is a 24-hour, 7-day service and the role includes a mixture of:
- Long days: 7:00am to 7:30pm
- Nights: 7:00pm to 7:30am
- Weekend and bank holiday working

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
- Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
- Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
- Providing personal care to include washing, dressing and toileting / continence care.
- Accurately recording patient information.
- Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Essential application criteria are detailed within the Job Description. This includes level 2 qualification in functional skills Maths and English or equivalent qualification. Please ensure that you include this information in your application.
