We have vacancies in the North locality of Bradford
About the Role
As a Health care support worker you will work as part of the planned care community nursing service delivering care to people living in their own home environment.
We will support you to develop skills that will enable you to carry out a variety of interventions, appropriately delegated by a clinician in the team. You will be given full training in wound care, diabetes management including insulin administration, you will also support patients who require support with enteral feeding regimes and medication administration. These are a few examples of the types of skills you will be developing with a comprehensive training package underpinning these skills
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience of working with patients ideally in the community setting and appropriate NVQ or equivalent qualifications or experience.
As an agile worker you will need to be able to move around independently and in a timely manner as you will be visiting patients in their own home.
Working Hours
To work as part of the Adult Community Nursing Services over a 7 day period.

Ensuring high quality health care is delivered to patients in their homes as an integrated part of the mainstream Integrated District Nursing service. To work in collaboration with the wider Primary Health Care team, whilst participating in the assessment of health needs and delivering of care to the practice population. The service is delivered over a seven day rota. with a shift range from 8- 9pm 7 days a week
Development Opportunities
We have great development opportunities for our Health care support workers supporting apprenticeship programmes to undertake pre registration training to become a registered nurse or Nursing associate.
