Health Care Support Worker - Band 3
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join a dedicated and enthusiastic nursing team within Ward 4, Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. The ward consists of 18 mixed-sex beds, providing continuing assessment, care, and treatment to older adults living with a dementia diagnosis.
About the Role
You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team providing therapeutic and person-centered care. You will work alongside registered nurses, medical staff, and varied allied health professionals to ensure good care outcomes for our patients. Candidates should be able to demonstrate trauma-informed practice in treating service users with respect and compassion, maintaining their dignity and confidentiality while respecting individuals’ needs and differences. You will be expected to contribute to assessments and holistic care delivery following evidence-based practice. The role requires working autonomously at times following direction and as part of a team.

Requirements
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
- Entitlement to work in the UK
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK through specific types of visa, EU settled and pre-settled status, or other routes
