Job Purpose

The Health Coach will focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred coaching to patients as part of a holistic, digital-first health programme for patients on incretin-based therapies. The Health Coach will provide one-to-one and group-based support for patients, working alongside the clinical team. Coaches will be trained to identify adverse events, product complaints, and safety concerns in order to escalate where necessary.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Deliver 1:1 health coaching aligned with the Roczen programme.
  • Guide patients through behaviour change, self-monitoring tools, and ongoing support.
  • Identify and escalate any clinical or safeguarding concerns in line with internal protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians and mentors to ensure joined-up care.
  • Report on adverse events, product complaints, and safety concerns.
  • Support the development and review of educational health promotion content.

Essential:

  • Minimum level 3 qualification in a health-related subject (e.g. BSc Nutrition; Level 3 Diploma in Health Coaching).
  • Passionate about delivering compassionate, effective, and safe patient care.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a remote-first team.
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to contribute beyond the day-to-day coaching role.
  • Comfortable with digital tools, systems, and record keeping in a clinical context.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a health coaching, wellbeing, or behaviour change role.
  • Skilled in behaviour change techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing.
  • Experience supporting patients with obesity and chronic health conditions.
  • Experience working in digital or remote health programmes.

Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Our service runs Monday - Saturday, 0800 - 2000, working hours and pattern will be subjected to service needs.
