Health & Fitness Coach

Location: Wyndley Leisure Centre, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6EB
Salary: £14,727.79 salary plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part-time 21 hours per week + opportunity for personal training flexible to work earlies, lates and weekends.

Delivering these services relies on an enthusiastic, customer-focused team, and they're now looking for a Health and Fitness Coach to join their team and help make a positive difference every day.

As a Health and Fitness Coach, you'll play an important role in helping people improve their health, build confidence and achieve their fitness goals. From supporting new members as they begin their journey to delivering engaging training sessions and personalised programmes, your work has purpose and creates a positive impact on communities. You'll help create an inclusive and welcoming environment where people can grow, stay active and build healthier futures.


What You’ll Do as a Health and Fitness Coach

  • Deliver health and fitness programmes that support members and casual users in achieving their goals safely and effectively.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, including body composition, cardiovascular and strength-based evaluations, and use outcomes to develop tailored programmes.
  • Support the successful onboarding of new members, helping them understand the facilities, services and programmes available to them.
  • Deliver group fitness classes, small group training sessions and personal training services, motivating participants to achieve long-term results.
  • Monitor member progress, review attendance and engagement, and provide encouragement, coaching and programme adjustments where needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming gym environment while delivering excellent customer service and building trust with members.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification as a minimum requirement.
  • Hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification or be willing to work towards achieving this within your first 12 months of employment.
  • Have a strong understanding of health and fitness principles and the ability to guide individuals through structured programmes.
  • Enjoy building positive relationships and communicating confidently with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm and pride to creating a supportive environment that helps people achieve their goals.
