Overview
THRIVE is looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Health & Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a conventional personal training role. Alongside coaching our members, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the studio, leading our member experience, supporting coach development, contributing to sales and helping shape the future of the business.
We are looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of their work. Someone who notices the little things, anticipates what needs doing, brings ideas to the table and takes action without needing to be asked. You should be confident working independently, comfortable taking the lead and motivated to continually improve both yourself and the environment around you.
We want someone who thinks like a coach, acts like a leader and takes pride in the success of the whole business. We particularly welcome applications from women looking to develop their careers in personal training and health coaching.
About Us
THRIVE Personal Training & Health is a private personal training studio located between Highgate and Hampstead. We provide small-group personal training (SGPT) and 1-to-1 coaching, with a focus on delivering exceptional service through a scientific, holistic and evidence-based approach to health and fitness.
Our mission is to raise the standards and redefine what personal training means. We believe excellent coaching extends beyond the session itself. It means understanding our members, holding them accountable, helping them progress and creating an environment in which they feel supported and motivated to achieve their goals.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to that vision, take ownership of their role and help us build something exceptional.
The Role
This is a varied, full-time position combining hands-on coaching with member experience, sales, administration, team support and studio operations.
You will be trained in our systems and processes, including making sales calls to prospective members. As you become established in the role, you will have increasing scope to take the initiative, improve existing processes and introduce ideas of your own.
We are not looking for someone who simply completes a checklist. We want someone who identifies what needs improving, thinks critically about how to improve it and takes responsibility for making it happen.

- Maintain high coaching standards and ensure every member receives an attentive, professional and personalised experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
