An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Derbyshire County Council’s Public Health Department, within Live Life Better Derbyshire, supporting the work of the Adult Healthier Weight Programme.
We have a fabulous opportunity for a motivated individual to join our dynamic and growing service, delivering our (Tier 2) Adult Healthier Weight Programme. The successful candidate will have a passion and ability for supporting Derbyshire residents to make healthier choices.

We have one full-time hybrid post (37 hours per week) which will focus on supporting the delivery of our Healthier Weight programme, across the Amber Valley, Erewash, and South Derbyshire localities.

- Support the delivery of the Adult Healthier Weight Programme
- Work across the Amber Valley, Erewash, and South Derbyshire localities
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Knowledge of behaviour change
- Good understanding of factors that influence health
- Experience of working both independently and as part of a team
- Good level of IT literacy
Role Details:
This is a hybrid role that will involve a combination of office-based, home-based, and community-based working. The post requires regular travel across Derbyshire, including the transportation of equipment.
The role will include working 5 days of 7 and include evening and weekend working.
