Organisation: Leicestershire County Council
Work Location: County Hall, Leicester Road, Glenfield, LE3 8RA
Salary: £39,939 - £42,699 per annum (pro rata for part time) (pay award pending)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Improvement Co-ordinator to support the development and delivery of public health programmes that improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities across Rutland. Working with a wide range of partners, communities and stakeholders, you will lead projects, coordinate training and engagement activities, use evidence and data to inform practice, and help shape innovative approaches to improving health and wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local communities while developing your public health expertise.
About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Be educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
- Have experience of designing, delivering and implementing health improvement programmes.
- Be able to develop and lead partnership working on health improvement programmes.
- Have experience of monitoring and evaluating public health projects, using findings to improve service delivery.
- Have experience of using co-production to support development of health improvement programmes.
- Have a good understanding of different aspects of public health, including behaviour change and health literacy.
- Be able to understand, interpret and present complex data and evidence to a range of audiences.
