Job Summary

Healthcare Innovation Manager

Be part of a fast-growing, innovative company pioneering “Liveable Technology” to transform diabetes care. We’re hiring a Health Innovation Manager to help accelerate key initiatives and deliver breakthrough, user-centric solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Healthcare Innovation Manager will be responsible for advancing our in-country clinical strategy in line with (and not exclusive to) the NICE Implementation plan, as a resource in the Customer (both HCP and person with diabetes) Pathway, with the aim of increasing product adoption, usage, and customer success with Omnipod therapy. This highly knowledgeable, highly skilled individual will be responsible for the tactical delivery of a number of business critical projects supporting this significant opportunity in the UK to allow more people living with diabetes to access our technology.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate, direct, and deliver on Insulet’s offering for the NICE Implementation plan for HCL including partnership working with the NHS and other professional bodies.
  • Support HCL technologies to be phased into the NHS in both an equitable and sustainable manner to avoid exacerbation of existing health inequalities.
  • Evaluate Diabetes clinical care provision and tactically implement Insulet’s value solutions, whilst leading on innovative methods of demonstrating value-based solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally to design, pilot, and launch solutions to assist with diabetes clinical service pathways.
  • Partner with Key Opinion Leaders to capture high-quality, successful diabetes care with the ability to showcase/demonstrate success, which can be replicated and implemented at scale to drive adoption of HCL therapies.
  • Next level Pathway Tool Development- individualisation for Diabetes services.
  • Delivery of education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams, to drive expertise and achieve a best-in-class service to our customers.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the med-tech/ diabetes field, ideally a combination of sales and clinical.
  • Prior industry/commercial experience essential
  • Knowledge and experience of the NHS, service delivery, and current pathways.
  • Qualified and experienced in producing, and delivering training programs including delivering face to face in classroom and virtual classroom training.

Physical Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • This position requires regular business travel within the region, at times extensive travel to conduct training events and ‘field visits’.
  • Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by monthly need (up to 50%).
  • The work environment will be, home office and car, as well as the Regional Office for our international markets (Paris, Munich, London). There will be a requirement to visit HCPs offices, clinics.
