Role Description
The Health & Performance Chef (Volunteer) is a full-time, remote role focused on developing nutrition-forward recipes and meal plans that support hormonal health, energy, and performance.
Day-to-day tasks include
- Designing balanced menus
- Tailoring recipes to different dietary needs and health goals
- Collaborating with health and nutrition professionals to align culinary creations with evidence-based guidance

The chef will create written and visual content (such as recipes, cooking tips, and preparation guides) for LYNA’s digital platforms, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with the brand’s voice.

Responsibilities also include:
- Providing empathetic guidance to community members
- Offering practical cooking strategies to help users implement personalized nutrition recommendations
- Supporting ongoing refinement of LYNA’s AI-driven nutrition tools through feedback and testing
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to explain nutrition concepts clearly, support users, and engage respectfully with a diverse community.
- Candidates should possess expertise or familiarity in Occupational Health and Health Promotion to design meals that support wellbeing, performance, and sustainable lifestyle habits.
- Candidates should possess a foundation in Medicine or health sciences, or practical experience working alongside medical or nutrition professionals, to understand the impact of food on hormonal and overall health.
- Candidates should possess culinary skills, including menu planning, recipe development, and safe food preparation practices, with experience in healthy cooking and dietary customization (e.g., allergies, cultural preferences, plant-based options).
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet agreed timelines.
- Relevant qualifications such as certification in nutrition, dietetics, culinary arts, or health coaching are beneficial; experience in women’s health, performance nutrition, or digital health platforms is a plus.
